## Summary

This report is the start of a process of guiding end-users in informed decision making about XR technology through a rating system and educational toolbox. In the first step towards this, we employed systematic and scoping literature reviews to examine the current state of XR ethical practices, identify methods for ethics assessment, and review existing XR solutions and their societal implications. The analysis reveals limited diversity and under-reporting of ethical implications in the literature, leading to recommendations for a systematic ethical technology framework and standardized reporting to address these issues in future XR research.
